SC Collegium Recommends Two Advocates for Appointment as Judges of Allahabad High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting on March 25, 2025, approved the appointment of two advocates as judges of the Allahabad High Court. The recommended advocates are:

Shri Amitabh Kumar Rai

Shri Rajiv Lochan Shukla
This decision was taken as part of the Collegium’s latest recommendations for judicial appointments.
The Collegium's official statement reads as follows:
"The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 25th March, 2025 has approved the proposal for appointment of the following Advocates, as Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad:
(I) Shri Amitabh Kumar Rai, and
(ii) Shri Rajiv Lochan Shukla."
